DK-DOX FRESH is a 750 ppm aqueous chlorine dioxide solution that can be prepared by simply mixing the DK-DOX FRESH liquid component and the DK-DOX FRESH component 2. This patented process makes it possible to produce a pure, heavy metal free chlorine dioxide solution.

DK-DOX FRESH 750 ppm chlorine dioxide solution
Contains 0.75 g / L 0.1 g / L chlorine dioxide.
Boiling point is 100 °C.
Density 1.0050 g / mL.
Water hazard class 2.
According to EC directives/GefStoffV not subject to classification.
store frost-free.
After production, the product degrades by reaction and diffusion.
The degradation rate depends on temperature, incidence of light and tightness of the container.
Preparation
1. Dissolve DK-DOX component 2 by filling the transport container with drinking water. (For containers > 1 L)
2. Add the solution from 1. (dissolved component 2) to the transport container of the DK-DOX FRESH liquid component (component 1). (For container size 1 L, add the tablet from the headspace into the solution, close the bottle and shake for approx. 30 seconds)
3. Close the container with the mixture of 2. (merged component 1 and component 2) and store over 24 h at 30 °C.
4. After 24 h, store in a cool but frost-free place.
5. Clear yellow coloration indicates activity of the solution.
Caution:
Reaction time from 3. increases to 2 days at a reaction temperature of 19 °C.
Use activated product within 6 weeks, store in a cool and dark place.
Use
DK-DOX FRESH is either dosed directly from the delivery container or poured into a storage container of the fogger.
50 mL DK-DOX FRESH / m³ room volume fogging at 20 °C (nozzle 4)
75 mL DK-DOX FRESH / m³ room volume fogging at 30 °C (nozzle 4 or 6)
At low temperatures, dripping may occur. In this case, heat up vehicles to 20 °C before application. At high temperatures, use larger nozzles if necessary, otherwise mist will be absorbed by the air. Application time approx. 15 minutes. Afterwards ventilate the room well or destroy DK-DOX® FRESH by means of UV lamp.
Leave the room during treatment or wear full respiratory protection.
Suitable respiratory protection: Gas filter device (DIN EN 141)
When selecting the application technique, ensure that only materials resistant to chlorine dioxide are used. Rubber, e.g. as sealing material, is dissolved by the concentrated chlorine dioxide solutions. The same applies to brass.
Mode of action
DK-DOX FRESH fights odors oxidatively.
Chlorine dioxide is a strongly bactericidal, sporicidal, viricidal and algicidal disinfectant.
Due to its non-specific mode of action, germ adaptations are not possible.
